Busan Day 1

I went to Busan with a couple of friends for the weekend of Korea's independence day and it was a whirlwind of adventures. It was a little unfortunate that the weather was cold for half the time we were there but we made the most of it. Busan is such a nice city and I can't wait to go there again in the summer for beach! =D
Right out of the Korail we find these cool cut outs.
Make way!
Busan, surrounded by mountains.
A random bell in front of the station.
Haeundae Beach!!! It was cloudy the day we got there but the next day the weather was BEAUTIFUL and I had a nice morning run along the beach. I can't wait to live on the beach when I can afford a house. =)
This city is jam packed!
The groupie.
Delicious seafood restaurant.
I love all the panchan dishes (Korean side dishes)...raw oysters, kim-chi pancake, steamed shrimp, seaweed, peanuts, corn and cheese and kim-chi.
This was raw sea cucumber and two other things I don't know. The orange this was pretty good, the sea cucumber made my tongue swell a bit, and the other thing was still moving after I had a piece. Yuck...gross.
Raw FISH!!! So good.
Fish bone soup...in Korea they take all the bones after taking the meat for sashimi and cook it in this spicy hot broth.
After dinner? There was fish and tempura. So good. The fish dish reminds of cá kho (I miss this dish).
Lighting fireworks on the beach.
My delicious flaming Dr. Pepper.
Artwork on the beer pong table.
Us trying to distract the other side. Great teamwork. =)
They looked stress. =)

Yum...Gin and Tonic, plus Rum and Coke.
