My Birthday!!!

I am so thankful for all my family and friends for remembering my birthday. =) My sister told me that my mother tried to send me a cookie cake from Mrs. Fields but it was not possible since it would be hard by the time it got here. That was so sweet of her to even try. That Saturday I had to work at my company's Market Day for the student's to come and trade in their hard earned money for prizes (pictures to come later). The plan was to go watch a baseball game after and then out about town, but tickets ran out so we ended up eating at Todai and then having a long night instead. Below are pictures of the festivities and the lovely presents I received from abroad and in Korea.
My lovely ladies from back home (Mary, Hien, & Sindra) sent me this awesome package full of goodies. Needless to say I am almost done with all of it and it was nice getting new music.
Narae gave me a nice dose of celebrity gossip from home! I was absorbed in the magazine for a good hour. I love the letter and Coco loves the Kong you got her too! =D
The shirt says, "What's not to love."
Maria sent me some yoga pants and a CUTE shirt for Coco. ^-^ I couldn't take it off of her after putting it on and the pants were perfect since I'm starting yoga soon.

*THANK YOU to you all back home for sending me gifts, it means a lot and I was jumping up and down every time I received something in the mail. Much Love!
Sanford got me more candy and incense to light in my room. I also got my dose of duck meat (pictures below). We ate a whole duck! Well almost, there was way too much meat.
One of my students found out it was my birthday and made me hand soap! So cute!
My manager got me this delicious Chocolate Cake! It was so yummy!

My beautiful co-workers who celebrated at work with me, minus Ray and Michelle.
So that evening in lieu of the baseball game, we had some Todai. The seafood was so good! We were all so full afterwards and had to find a cafe to sit down at. Haha. It was a neat cafe too since we could rent any kind of board game we wanted and play there.
That evening we headed out to Hongdae and dropped by this bar and managed to get our own private room. When the waitress tried to open our wine bottle she broke the cork and she was freaking out. A very funny moment but then she eventually got the cork out and gave us service. =)
Thanks guys for celebrating with me! (Missing Ra and Christina)
My first AMF in Korea! To my surprise, there was a Korean-Canadian bartender there that knew how to make the drink. This definitely messed most of us up, but kept up our energy until 6am!!!
DONESO! Right after that drink I was done for (I did have some wine before that mind you). I ended up throwing up the whole kebab that I ate right before that and felt much better. We ended up dancing through the night and taking the subway home. -_- Not really fun spending the early morning on a subway but it had to be done and I didn't wake up with a hangover, yay!
Next day on my actual birthday Michelle took me out to lunch and Sanford took me out to dinner. For dinner we had a whole roasted duck.
All the food we had. I've been craving duck in Korea and Sanford managed to find this restaurant that served it. It was the most healthiest duck I've ever had in my life.
Still remaining half of the plate of duck.
Yummy!
