Ahh these food stands. Here is the one in Dongdaemun, gotta love them. They're so convenient and cheap!
We all got yummy kabobs.
Ahhh late night snack at 3am after shopping for five hours, yes until 3am in the morning. Haha. Only in Korea. Yummy dumplings and BiBimBap.
Breakfast for the three of us one morning. We paid $2 each!

The three of us congregated in my little apt. Looks homey doesn't it.

So we all woke up at 6am to take Mary to the airport and Sindra and I decided to head straight out for Seoul. We first we got on the subway and got off at the Dongnimun to go find the Inwangsan Temple. We were not dressed at all to hike, but we still managed to go up part of the mountain.

It was so peacful up in the mountain, I could stay up there for hours. It was a nice get away from all the city noise. The tall point is the Seoul Tower.

Exercise machines halfway up the mountain! The twisty thing is my favorite.

Omg, finally found freshly cooked yams in the streets of Apujeong. It was soooooo good!

This is what it's cooked in. Each circle is a little compartment with a couple of yams in it.

One of the emperor's of Korea.

They were trying to set up this Christmas tree, but could not get the circle to balance on top of the other circle. It was an intriguing moment. Ahh Christmas is coming, I can't wait!

Drummers in the streets of Insa-Dong.

This was a nostalgic moment, reminding me of the simple life.

An interesting setup in Insa-Dong. Old baskets were used to decorate this wall. I thought it was quite creative.

Insa-Dong definitely reminds me of Berkeley. So many artsy stuff around. One of my favorite places so far.
KFC b/c we were so hungry and it was right there...the chicken is actually a lot less oily than the one in the States.
Ahhh and of course, Hongdae Nightlife.
Anthony invited me out to Oi Bar for his birthday and it was a really cool place. The floors were heated and we had to take off our shoes to get in.
The seating area was really nice. It was dark though, so I didn't see that the cushions we were sitting on are purple. This was the second floor and the whole place had a cave like feel.
Us girls on the subway.
Yum! Tofu Soup with Rice.

Cold Buckwheat Noodles. This one was actually really cold, the soup was all iced up! Not too good on a very cold day.
