Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!

Lunar New Years I was stuck in Korea with out my family and no red envelopes to open. Well, so I thought. I still had to make the most of my three day weekend. So what better way to do it then to go on a food extravaganza with friends to enjoy BOTH the Lunar New Years and Valentines Day.
Dropped by a restaurant in Gangnam to get some Chicken Katsu along with...
More Chicken Katsu & Korea side dishes and...
Meat w/ Kim Chi soup. Yum. =)
For dessert we went to Dr. Fish to have little fishies nibble at our feet after our delicious dessert.
The larger fish that I tried out later. They did hurt a bit.
The great view outside as we were sitting and enjoying our pedicure.
The little fish!
You can actually see them here.
The other side enjoying being "bitten" by the large fish.
Krispy Kreme doughnuts to celebrate Valentines Day!
I actually had some REAL milk tea for the first time in Korea!!! We got to sit and look right outside the window. Definitely a great way to relax after walking around all day.
Delicious.
Next day us girlies woke up to go enjoy some late afternoon tea.
Such a cute place for tea and cake.
Thai Pho for dinner. It was pretty good.
Dessert again. I had to resist this one since I've been eating sweets all week. -_- It looked delectable though.
At some places in the city there are public webcams where you can take your picture and e-mail it to yourself. Our group picture in Gangnam. =)
So I did end up getting some red envelopes in the mail. My Grandma, Mother, and dearest Hien each sent me a red envelope for the new year. I also got this awesome care package from home that has everything I requested for. =D

*Thanks to Cindy for some of the pictures!
