Taebaek San Snow Festival & Snowboarding

About two weekends ago I went to the snow festival at Taebaek San and snowboarding. It was really cold but worth looking at all the ice sculptures. Snowboarding however was a pain. There was too much as and so much wind. Going on the ski lift was a pain with high winds whipping at my face and going down the mountain and falling was pain. It was all fun nonetheless. I forced myself to learn how to break forward and I ate snow so many times for doing that. I fell so hard on my bottom a couple of times and fell backwards on my head once on the ice. Needless to say I was almost bedridden the next day.

Taebaek San Map.
We took a four hour bus ride to the mountain and seven of us slept in this guest house. It was a fun and interesting experience.
Car made out of ice.
Carvings alongside a hill.
Me and Michelle (my new co-worker).
My own little heart.
A boat!
Cinderella's Carriage.
Cinderella's Castle.
My favorite one. If you can see, it's a fat bear laying down, we're at his legs, his head is up top and on the left are dumplings.
This one was silly.
Some of the festival.
Inside a huge igloo with ice furniture. We had some delicious hot chocolate in here.
They passed out hand sanitizer! I use it everyday at work.
Cute porta-potties.
Some of the mountain where we went snowbaording.

All bundled up because it was FREEZING!
